After a week of fictional football oddballishness Football Fives is back to full strength and back to its regular format for an "anything goes" rattle through five football topics, pressing or otherwise. Daniel Storey, David Hartrick, Ryan Keaney and Chris Nee kick off by predicting the next first-time winner of the FIFA Balon d'Or.

Question two addresses the future or otherwise of the League Cup in England, challenging the panel to fix a competition that's seen better days, and question three examines the fate of the English manager. Is the Proper Football Man not long for the dugout as clubs move to a more sustainable model of management?

We finish by asking whether English football deserves more from its governing body and, thanks to a question from listener Euan Dewar (again), give a quick assessment of our own clubs' seasons so far.
