The Football Fives podcast is all about football's lifeblood this week. The supporters make the game - we all know that, right? - and our five questions tackle various aspects of life as and with the fans that allow football to thrive.

Daniel Storey, David Hartrick, Ryan Keaney and Chris Nee discuss English ultra culture, the futility of fan protests, the link between stadia and English football identity (thanks to Richard Buxton for his listener question) and the art and otherwise of football tourism.

By the way, we apologise for the unavoidable Friday release of this week's episode of Football Fives and also for a few wobbles in sound quality. We had some technical gremlins to contend with as well as a rather busier than usual work week.
