Michael Owen

It's our 100th episode, but we don't like to talk about it. Nevertheless, such landmarks deserve to be, erm, marked. There was only one subject in the running to bring up the Football Fives Podcast century, and it's one of our bafflingly popular five-a-side selections. With apologies to Ryan Keaney, whose irritation at the rest of us rarely shows in these 65 minutes, it was always going to be England.

Ryan's joined by Daniel Storey, David Hartrick and Chris Nee to construct our all-time favourite English five-a-side Frankenstein team. Because it's Football Fives, you see. The rules are simple: each of us picks a team - in this case it's a goalkeeper, a defender, two midfielders and a striker - and argue the toss over who makes the final team.

100 episodes in, we'd like to thank you for listening to our podcast. The football podosphere is a place of significant interest right now, with some genuine media titans joining the community and some smaller fish trying to make a buck or two. For us, Football Fives is just the motivation to spend a quality hour talking football with our mates. That you listen is an honour.
